NAMI Support Group is a peer-led support group for family members, caregivers and loved ones of individuals living with mental illness. Attendees gain insight from the challenges and successes of others facing similar circumstances.
NAMI’s Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
•Free of cost to participants
•Designed for adult loved ones (18+) of individuals living with mental illness
•Led by family members of individuals living with mental illness
This Support Group, which meets on the 1st and 3rd Monday evenings of every month, is a time of care and encouragement and resourcing for any who have a loved one diagnosed with mental illness. Those attending will see that they are not alone and that there is hope. The group meets from 6:30pm to 8pm in the Alpha Room at King of Kings Church, 11615 I Street.
