Learn to come alongside others who are going through a difficult time in life. Training in grief, family challenges, divorce, illness, aging, caregiving, job issues or other seasons of need, you will learn to use these Journey Coaching skills to help others through challenging times and at no cost to you. Journey Coach Training consists of a bi-monthly two-hour basic training class to become a Journey Coach. This class begins on Tuesday, June 25th and meets on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday through October 22nd from 6 – 8 pm at King of Kings Church Campus.
Samples of lessons taught: Caring vs. Curing, Listening, Feelings, Boundaries/Assertiveness, Confidentiality/Telecare, Providing Spiritual Care/Discipleship, Who Am I? and First Visits. For more information about becoming a Journey Coach or to apply, contact Karen.
This training is helpful and open to anyone. Taking the training does not commit you to becoming a Journey Coach.
