Changes That Heal – Churches That Heal

August 12 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Wednesday, repeating until August 19, 2020

| $20

When was the last time you were sick and tired of being sick and tired?  Maybe you told yourself, “somethins’ gotta change” or “the truth shall set me free.”  But it didn’t.  The pain of injustice, failure, a broken heart, addiction, anxiety and relentless relational hostility is exhausting.   The freedom Jesus brings feels elusive.

Join Pastor Leroy and Mildred Gerner for 7 sessions where you will reflect on God’s Word, connect with others, exercise courage, and rely on Christ as you make efforts to change.  Changes That Heal – Churches That Heal shows us the path to transformation that Jesus taught so we can function as we were originally designed.  Genesis 1:27 says, So God created humans in his image. In the image of God he created them. He created them male and female.”  Although we’ve fallen short of this, Jesus has redeemed us so He can guide us through the processes of healing change.   In this course, we’ll explore 4 abilities God wants to develop in us by His grace and truth, over time.  1. Relational connection, 2. Boundaries, 3. Processing pain and 4. Becoming an adult.

Dates:  Wednesdays starting July 8 through Aug. 19

Introduction the first night, then 6 sessions.  (7 meetings)

Starts at 7 p.m. – ends no later than 8:30 p.m.

Where: King of Kings Church in the Core Gathering Room
