Coordinator of Care Ministries
Karen has been doing visitation ministry for over 15 years and also works part-time as a chaplain at local hospitals where she continually has opportunities to care for the ill, the dying, and their families in the community. As a trained Stephen Minister, Karen now trains and leads our Journey Coaches. These Journey Coaches walk alongside people going through difficult times in their lives.
Karen’s passion is caring for people and bringing people comfort, hope, and truth through prayer and God’s Word. Karen loves to listen to the Lord and plan her work life around what the Lord is saying.
Karen’s personal “life statement”, written after she studied Mother Teresa’s life, is “I want my life to express the love of Jesus, the love of the cross, loving as I have been loved, and putting love into everything I do. Whatever I think, say, or do, I want to do it for Jesus. God is my power.”

Kim is a farm girl from Nebraska with a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting from the University of Nebraska at Kearney. As life goes, she left the Midwest to pursue a job in politics, this opportunity allowed her to help others. In 2009, she and her family returned to the area and joined King of Kings Church. It was here, Kim found Formational Prayer. Formational Prayer is an inner healing ministry by the work of the Holy Spirit.
Kim has been involved in many Care and Core Ministry classes since 2011. As a Spiritual Formation Intern, she provides the oversight and leadership of the Spiritual Formation Monday Night Group. Kim plays an integral role in the development of spiritually formative groups and classes.
